The Oil Tank Trailer plays a crucial role in the field of oil transportation, and its safety protection design is of utmost importance.

The subsea valve can be regarded as a key defense line to prevent oil leakage. As an emergency shut-off valve, it can quickly cut off the connection between the oil tank and the outside world in emergency situations. The design principle is based on the abnormal posture of the trailer or external impact, using gravity, spring force, or hydraulic pressure to close the valve oil circuit. Before loading and unloading oil, it is necessary to check its opening and closing status. During operation, ensure that the connection is tight and leak free. After completion, close it in a timely manner to prevent leakage during transportation.

The breathing valve is responsible for maintaining pressure balance inside the oil tank. Due to the influence of oil temperature and transportation road conditions, the pressure inside the tank may change. It is similar to a precision pressure regulator, where the exhaust valve opens when the pressure exceeds the positive pressure opening value, and the intake valve opens when the pressure is below the negative pressure opening value. Users should regularly check and maintain, adjust pressure settings according to seasons and oil products to ensure accurate pressure regulation.

The material and structural design of the tank are the foundation for durability and sturdiness. The tank body is made of high-strength steel, which is resistant to compression and impact. Its circular or elliptical cross-section can evenly disperse liquid pressure, and compared to other shapes, the tank wall bears less stress, with higher strength and safety. The welding process is crucial during manufacturing, and non-destructive testing is required to ensure sealing and structural integrity. Surface anti-corrosion treatment can extend the service life, prevent perforation, and isolate the tank metal from external corrosive substances.

The electrostatic discharge device can eliminate the hidden dangers of static electricity. Friction generates static electricity during oil transportation, which can lead to fire and explosion if accumulated. The device consists of an electrostatic drag belt and an electrostatic discharge line inside the tank. The static electric towing belt is installed at the rear of fuel tank trailer in contact with the ground, which guides static electricity into the ground during driving. The export line inside the tank is connected to the equipment grounding system during oil loading and unloading to export static electricity.
